Children's Rhythm ChoirAll children are invited to participate in rhythm choir. The kids have a great time playing various percussion instruments, and they greatly enhance worship by adding to upbeat songs. Brass Choir
The Fret NotsOur newest musical group features acoustic guitars, electric bass, percussion and even a harmonica. The Fret Nots bring a country gospel sound to the congregation by playing music by Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, the Statler Brothers and others. First Spirit SingersThe youth choir is open to all children, from elementary through high school ages. First Spirit Singers tends to focus on contemporary, up-beat songs that are fun for the kids to learn. Worship is a lot of fun when the First Spirit Singers share their lively music. Adult ChoirFirst Lutheran's adult choir is open to everyone who likes to sing. The choir is a very casual group, and rehearses on Sunday mornings at 9:15. First Lutheran Choir welcomes everyone who wants to join for singing, fun, and fellowship. Special MusicFirst Lutheran has many talented musicians who are willing to share their gifts. Special Music is a living example of stewardship, as people give of their talents. Many worship services have been blessed with a variety of special music including vocal solos and duets, flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, french horn solos, and guitar music. |

First Lutheran has a five piece brass choir, which consists of two trumpets, a french horn, a trombone, and a baritone. The brass choir rehearses weekly and works on a variety of musical pieces. The players vary greatly in experience but they always find musical pieces that are comfortable for everyone. Rehearsals are very relaxed and the schedule is flexible. The brass choir is always looking for new brass players, so dust off that old horn and come join the fun!
